Description
Highly aromatic, and very hot, Cameroon Pepper (also known as “Yellow Pepper” or “Black Pepper”) is made from dried Scotch Bonnet Peppers, and should be used with caution. It adds a distinctive ‘Nigerian taste’ to dishes. The “Cameroon” part of its name refers to the drying process.
Majorly used in soups, pepper soups, sauces, and to spice up beef, fish, chicken, etc.
Cameroon pepper, or Aframomum melegueta, is an anti-inflammatory plant. The anti-inflammatory properties of Cameroon pepper come from the alkaloids in the pepper. These alkaloids can help with arthritis and other inflammatory conditions by reducing inflammation in your body.
